The origin behind Laralace collection is always a small piece of lace. I love how something as soft and delicate as lace can be transformed into a hard silver bracelet, pendant or necklace.

We employed the proportionality and sequence of the metallic means. This is a new family of positive quadratic irrational numbers
In each work we used the polygon associated to the chosen Metallic Mean (gold, silver, copper, platinum, etc) and the corresponding Fibonacci Series.
Ancient civilizations are part of Lilia's inspiration. Her work is a reinterpretation of these cultures and with ancestral weaving techniques, she obtains contemporary objects.

This collection is based in ornamental designs of pucos (ceramics vessels) of former inhabitants (700-1500 DC) of Quebrada de Humahuaca, the Omaguaca Culture.
Main pieces and findings are made of silver or copper by acid etching method and patina.
